All that Glitters is…Orange!

Bling in the New Year with a DIY Confetti Popper Whatacraft

We know that the post-holiday slump is real, and with a new year on the horizon, what better way to say "sayonara" to 2020 than with a fun confetti send off? (And maybe some Whataburger delivery. Patty Melt, anyone?)

Tayler Texas is here with a quick confetti popper DIY that will dazzle with shimmery delight when the clock strikes midnight.

Gather up your supplies, and follow along with the instructions and video below!

Supplies:

  • toilet paper roll
  • wrapping paper
  • large balloon
  • scissors
  • tape
  • confetti

Instructions:

  1. Wrap your toilet paper roll with wrapping paper, folding in the edges and taping them down inside the tube.
  2. Cut your balloon in half, then place the bottom half of the balloon around one end of your wrapped toilet paper roll.
  3. Fill the tube with confetti.
  4. While pointing the confetti popper away from yourself and others, pull back lightly on the balloon piece and release to send confetti pieces flying in celebration of the new year!
