Cleared for Takeoff: Whataburger Lands at San Antonio International Airport
Much-anticipated restaurant to serve millions of hungry travelers a year
Level up your pre- or post-flight fare as Whataburger prepares to celebrate its grand opening within Terminal A at the San Antonio International Airport with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, September 23 at 10 a.m.
The traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony will include remarks from representatives of Whataburger, its franchisee partner Paradies Lagardère and the San Antonio International Airport. Whataburger swag giveaways plus the chance to win Whataburger for a Year will also be available at this much-anticipated celebration.
With Judith Hernandez, Flagship Manager for Paradies Lagardère at the helm, the Whataburger team of more than 50 local employees, who we call Family Members, is ready to serve thousands of hungry travelers daily from 4 a.m. through the last flight of the day.
“We’re thrilled to finally bring Whataburger to the San Antonio Airport,” said Gregg Paradies, President & CEO, Paradies Lagardère Franchisee. “We can't wait to serve both brand-new and returning guests a taste of what Texas is all about."
In addition to serving up beloved breakfast favorites like the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit and Breakfast on a Bun, the new Whataburger will offer its fresh, never-frozen burgers and other popular menu items, including French fries, onion rings, chicken strips and shakes.
