Fueling the Future of the Lewisville Fighting Farmers

New Whataburger resource room offers students snacks, swag and spirit

At Whataburger, we’re proud to invest in students and teachers to honor their hard work and hometown spirit. It’s our way of giving back to the communities we serve.

We’ve had a long-time partnership with Lewisville High School in north Texas, providing fresh food to teachers and students at a variety of events. We think of it as feeding the future.

We brought even more Orange Spirit to Lewisville High School this year with a fresh, new College Resource Room on campus. The hard work of college prep is looking a little brighter for the Fighting Farmers!

To get the party started, we welcomed students with plenty of Orange swag and a promise of Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits. What a way to kick off a school day!

The Fighting Farmers were revved about the re-energized resource room. College materials are front and center in new displays, and the new corner sitting area has just the right amount of chill.

A loud shout-out to teachers in the Whataburger love language: Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits, taquitos, and cinnamon rolls. At Whataburger, we seriously love teachers, and we’re proud to participate in the Year of the Teacher, an initiative of the H-E-B Foundation.

We like to think of the resource room as a one-stop inspiration station that’s fun and functional for Lewisville High’s students and counselors. We even brought snacks to fuel Fighting Farmers studying for the ACT and SAT.

Students were Snapping, showing some Orange love on their streaks.

Stay tuned for more success stories from the Lewisville Fighting Farmers, and see who’s chosen as the Whataburger Spirit Award winners. One junior and one senior will be selected from nominations students submitted. The awards are based on kindness, teamwork, service to others, and perseverance.

It’s one more way we show Whataburger Pride, Care, and Love for the communities we serve.
