Making its Mark in Colorado Springs: Whataburger to Open Fifth Location on Wednesday

Restaurant to Bring 80 Local Jobs

More of Whataburger’s fresh, fully customizable burgers and extensive menu of bold flavors are on their way to Colorado Springs, as the brand, in partnership with franchisee BurgerWorks Colorado, LLC, opens its newest location at 2550 Montebello Square Dr W, beginning Wednesday, June 14, at 11 a.m.

Bringing 80 local jobs and more Whataburger goodness to the area, this fifth area location will be open 24/7 through the dining room and the drive-thru. Upon opening, guests will also have the option to order online or through the Whataburger app for curbside pickup or delivery - all designed to make the Whataburger experience more enjoyable and convenient than ever.

“We are looking forward to our continued growth and serving up even more of Whataburger’s signature offerings to the Colorado Springs community,” said William Tamminga, owner of BurgerWorks Colorado. “Our fans here have shared overwhelming support and we invite them to visit us, meet our Family Members and experience their newest hometown restaurant.”

BurgerWorks Colorado will bring several additional Whataburger restaurants to the area in 2023. New restaurants to come include:

  • 706 E Fillmore, Colorado Springs, Colo. 80907
