In partnership with UAB Athletics, Whataburger was proud to host our first Literacy Locker Room at Fultondale Elementary School, bringing together students, educators and student-athletes for a day centered around reading and connection.

UAB Blazers football players, along with cheerleaders, the UAB Golden Girls, Blaze and Whataguy, spent time reading with six third-grade classes, creating meaningful moments that inspired a love of literacy and learning.

Each student received a Whataburger swag bag to take home, extending the experience beyond the classroom. To round out the day, faculty and staff were treated to a well-deserved meal featuring Whataburger favorites, including our signature burgers and Big Ranch Wraps.

Moments like these reflect our ongoing commitment to supporting education and making a positive impact in the communities we serve.
