Whataburger is bringing more of its famous bold flavors and orange-and-white striped fun to the Springfield area with its second and third area restaurants opening on Tuesday, January 3, 11 a.m. at 1851 W Marler Ln, Ozark, Mo., 65721 and at 3880 W Sunshine St, Springfield, Mo. 65807 in the coming weeks.

Whataburger plans to open two additional Springfield-area restaurants in 2023 at:

• 2355 N. Glenstone Ave., Springfield, Mo. 65803
• 401 N. Eastgate Ave., Springfield, Mo. 65802

“We’re thrilled to continue to bring Whataburger’s fresh ingredients and original recipes to the Springfield community,” said Area Coach Wendingoudi Evariste Ouedraogo. “We look forward to serving our new friends and neighbors in the area soon.”   

The brand plans to employ a total of 200 employees, who we call Family Members, at the two locations to deliver the Whataburger experience. Led by Operating Partners Kaden Jones in Ozark and George Moore, Jr in Springfield, both restaurants are ready to serve the community 24/7.

The restaurants honor Whataburger’s storied history while looking to the future with a forward-thinking design including double drive-thru lanes and digital menu boards to best serve guests. There’s also a custom interior mural featuring area landmarks. 

The restaurants will open with drive-thru service only, with plans to roll out additional services options including dining room access, ordering via the Whataburger App and Whataburger.com, curbside and delivery in the coming weeks.
