Whataburger makes magical update to All-Time Favorites menu
Our newest All-Time Favorite will make all of your Mushroom Swiss wishes come true
JULY 1, 2019 -- After first debuting in 2018 to the delight of mushroom lovers across Whataburger’s 10-state service area, the Mushroom Swiss Burger is returning – this time as an All-Time Favorite.
The Mushroom Swiss Burger is just a little fancy—but not fussy—and features two fresh, all-beef patties, creamy Au Jus sauce, two slices of Swiss cheese, two layers of premium grilled mushrooms and a toasty five-inch bun.
Here's what fans have to say on social about the burger:
“We heard from mushroom lovers this burger reminds them of their steakhouse favorites,” said Whataburger Vice President of Marketing and Innovation Rich Scheffler. “After the Mushroom Swiss Burger’s initial fanfare, we’re glad it will take its place on the All-Time Favorites menu so customers can satisfy their cravings.”
The All-Time Favorites are a collection of former limited-time offers that fans loved so much Whataburger decided to offer to customers for a longer timeframe. Whataburger’s All-Time Favorite menu includes four legendary burgers that have proved to be customer favorites. These are considered menu standouts and at times change due to customer feedback and local flavor requests. Three of the All-Time Favorites are the same across all Whataburger restaurants (the Mushroom Swiss burger, Patty Melt and the Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich), while the fourth one depends on the region:
- In the Southwest region, the fourth All-Time Favorite is the Green Chile Double.
- In the central and southeast regions, the fourth All-Time Favorite is the Sweet & Spicy Bacon Burger.
- Check out the menu to find out what the regional favorite in your area is: https://whataburger.com/locations/menu.
- Plus, most customers across our service area can also use Online Ordering to customize their favorites! Check our website to find out if Online Ordering is available in your area. Prices for the Mushroom Swiss Burger vary by market.
Whataburger has focused on its fresh, made-to-order burgers and friendly customer service since 1950 when Harmon Dobson opened the first Whataburger as a small roadside burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas. Dobson gave his restaurant a name he hoped to hear customers say every time they took a bite of his made-to-order burgers: “What a burger!” Within the first week, people lined up around the block for his 25 cent, 100 percent beef burgers served on five-inch buns. Today, the company is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, with more than 820 locations in 10 states with sales of more than $3 billion annually. Visit www.whataburger.com for more information.
