Whataburger 's Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich is back again
JAN. 2, 2020 – Whataburger’s Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich is officially back again for a limited time. The sandwich first debuted in 2015, whetting appetites for the irresistible combination of perfectly spicy buffalo sauce and cool buttermilk ranch across Whataburger’s 10-state service area.
Here’s what fans had to say on social media about craving the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich:
The sandwich is layered with three crispy, all-white meat chicken strips, two slices of Monterey Jack, zesty buttermilk ranch and topped off with Whataburger’s one-of-a-kind Buffalo Sauce – all served on a toasted five-inch bun.
“This sandwich is a creation for our sauce lovers out there,” said Whataburger Vice President of Marketing and Innovation Rich Scheffler. “Buffalo sauce and ranch create a savory flavor medley that has just the right amount of spice. Combine that with our crispy chicken strips and it makes for a flavor-packed experience with every bite.”
The Fine Print
The sandwich is only available for a limited time, and prices vary by market. Be sure and enjoy it while you can!
Whataburger has focused on its fresh, made-to-order burgers and friendly customer service since 1950 when Harmon Dobson opened the first Whataburger as a small roadside burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas. Dobson gave his restaurant a name he hoped to hear customers say every time they took a bite of his made-to-order burgers: “What a burger!” Within the first week, people lined up around the block for his 25 cent, 100 percent beef burgers served on five-inch buns. Today, the company is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, with more than 830 locations in 10 states with sales of more than $2 billion annually. Visit www.whataburger.com for more information.
