In our first 70 years, we’ve grown from a single road-side stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, to a family of 837 restaurants in 10 states. Now, as we celebrate our 70th Birthday with Orange Spirit Week, Whataburger is looking toward the future. The year ahead will see us enter new markets, with an updated look for our restaurants that celebrates our heritage while looking forward.

To kick off Orange Spirit Week, Whataburger is excited to announce the creation of the Tiger Resource Room Powered by Whataburger at Grambling State University. Read more here on how this student-led partnership will change a community. 

Our new Feeding Student Success Program will support students and educators through resource rooms at community colleges and universities, a new scholarship program to help students in our communities reach their dreams, and giving to education programs that serve students who need help the most.   

Our new Whataburger Food Truck made its debut -- serving up meals and love to educators as they get ready to start a school year like no other.
